Privacy Policy

1. General provisions

We, the MamaLama.Sleep app team (hereinafter — “the App”), respect your privacy and strive to protect the personal data you provide when using the app.

This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how it is used, and what rights you have.

2. What data we collect

2.1 Local data

The app collects the following data, which is stored only on your device:

  • Child's name is used to personalize the interface.
  • Child's age is used for recommendations.
  • Photos — optionally, for visual customization of the child's profile.
  • Child's sleep data, including:
    • wake-up time, daytime naps, bedtime
    • number and time of night wakings
    • sleep duration and active periods

This data:

  • is not transmitted anywhere,
  • is not processed by external services,
  • is deleted when the app is uninstalled.

2.2 Analytics data

The app uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymized information about how you interact with the app, including:

  • device type and OS
  • language, country
  • screen actions (e.g., “statistics screen opened”, “sleep added”)
  • technical errors
  • approximate location (at city level)

Firebase does not receive the child's age data and does not have access to sleep data.

2.3 Feedback

If you fill out the feedback form, we receive:

  • the text of your message
  • email (if you provide it manually)

This data is used solely to respond to you and is not shared with third parties.

3. How data is used

  • Local data — for personalized recommendations and building sleep statistics within the app.
  • Firebase Analytics — for analyzing anonymous usage statistics to improve the app. The information collected does not contain personal data, is not used to identify users, and is not shared with third parties for advertising or tracking.
  • Feedback — only for user support.

4. Data storage and deletion

  • All user-entered data (name, photo, child's age, sleep information) is stored only on the device.
  • Firebase Analytics data is stored on Google's servers in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Uninstalling the app completely removes all local data.

5. Your rights

You can:

  • Delete all data in the app yourself through settings.
  • Contact us through the feedback form or at: mamalamasleep@gmail.com.

6. Security

The app does not transmit personal or sensitive data. All data transmitted to Firebase is anonymized and does not allow identification of a specific user.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect information on the user's device. However, security also depends on the device itself and its protection (PIN, Face ID, etc.).

7. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. You will be notified of any changes through the app interface.

8. User age

The app is intended for adult users — parents and legal guardians. We do not collect data directly from children and do not target the app's functionality at minors.
